Our invitations to the cinema have proved so popular that we are developing this idea into a monthly newsletter. The goal of our newsletter is to invite you to social events (community), provide some interesting tips and entertainment to brighten your day (edutainment), and let you know what programs we have planned for the next few months (programs). Some of you have told us that you would like to attend our social events, but are usually unable to make it to the cinema, so this month we're introducing the British tradition of after-work drinks. If you would like to join us for a relaxed chat in English and a few drinks, come and join us on Thursday 13th at Ciudad Condal. We'll be there for a couple of hours, but you can come and go as you please.
This month, we are going to see the film 'Iris' which has won several awards, including an Oscar for best supporting actor. We'll be waiting outside from 20.10 ...

Programs
This July, we are running our 'Communicating in English' Immersion Program. This is an intensive summer course in practical business English for professionals with intermediate or low levels of English. We concentrate on giving you the confidence and practical ability to break out of your current level of English and speak with ease, comfort and spontaneity. The program includes the following topics:
| - Telephone - Email, Fax & Letters - Reading & Writing Reports - Socialising (Culture, Jokes etc) |
- Listening to rapid speech - Meetings & Presentations - Business lunches - Networking and making new contacts |
You can choose between our 5-day (July 1st - 5th or July 15th - 19th), 10-day (July 1st - 12th or July 15th - 26th), and 15-day (July 1st - 20th) programs. You can also choose whether you want to attend in the morning or afternoon.
The Morning Immersion Program will be held between 9.30am and 1.30pm, Monday to Friday. In addition, there will be a business lunch each Wednesday between 1.30pm and 3.30pm. The Afternoon Immersion Program will be held between 3.30pm and 7.00pm, Monday to Friday. This is comprised of one and a half hours for lunch using social English and two hours for structured activities focusing on practical business English.
